Electric Gate Opener Install Remote Control (Ritrox)
I have a go at installing a remote controlled electric gate opener. The brand is Ritrox. The linear actuators are very good quality, as is the control box. I wish the kit came with more wire. Otherwise, not a bad kit.
ebay.us/zPqV4i - This was the kit I used for the double swing gate. It is the Ritrox 500kg Double Swing Eco system.

Outboard starter problem solving Evinrude Johnson. Fix cranking / starter motor / solenoid problems
Просмотров 2,9 тыс.5 месяцев назад
Quite often you will leave a 2 stroke (or even a 4 stroke) outboard motor for quite a while before using it again and consequently it will not start. This is a video that might spawn some ideas on how to solve the problem. In this video I use a Evinrude / Johnson motor however most brand motors are all very similar. All will use a starter solenoid, have similar wiring and similar looking starte...

Chinese Diesel Heater Remote Control Battery

I recently converted from the old style diesel heater controller to the new LCD type Controller and it came with a remote control. The remote control was not working of course, because they ship it with no battery inside. However they don't tell you what kind of battery goes inside the remote control. It is a 27A type battery... which I went to coles, bunnings, and a few other shops and could n...

This is a quick setup guide for a Chinese Diesel Heater Controller (New type). I had the old type, and it turns out you can just unplug the old style (the one with the on / off and spin dial) and just plug in the new type. It is the same plug. Anyway, this guide will show you how to turn the heater on and off, how to prime the diesel heater, setup the time, change from hertz to degrees celcius ...
Royal Enfield Himalayan Sprocket upgrade / change
Просмотров 9 тыс.Год назад
The natural gearing of the Royal Enfield Himalayan doesn't 100% suit Australian conditions. On the highway where you might want to do 100 km/h or 110 km/h, the revs of the motorcycle will be quite high with the OEM Royal Enfield gearing. For a reasonable price you can change the sprocket on the front of the bike allowing the bike to do about 500rpm lower in the highway than standard. The proces...

Repair Car Air Conditioning Vents

It can be annoying when a car's A/C Vent fins don't all align in the same direction. My OCD tickles a lot when I see this! So I removed the vent, created a replacement part and refitted it so that all the fins align and point in the same direction. It is a common issue with older cars since the plastic deteriorates over time and becomes brittle. Below are the STL files I created. These are for ...

How to Change Edger Blade (Ryobi Expand It Whipper Snipper Attachment)
Do these issues apply to the zd30 engine when installed in the Navara D22?
Hi, Do youknow how to reset the fan? Is there a reset button on the fan itself? Ive tried and this is the only smart device in my house that wont connect anymore.
Im just trying one on my bike , had no idea how to fit it until i watched videos like yours. It was a little trickier with heated grips, i like the fact i can let go of throttle now and dont risk getting hit from behind because bike slows down fast when you you let go. Great vid mate.
Mine keeps going into low voltage. It’s plugged into 12v. Any ideas how to fix this?
Grab a multimeter and unplug the control box. See how many volts you are getting to the heater. If its low, you might have a voltage drop between the battery and the heater. Or if the voltage at the box is below 12.4(ish) then your battery might need a charge. If the heater is running it down and you get low voltage after a while, you might need to run dual batteries instead of a single 12v battery. good luck
@@Unfastened thanks. Worked out that the heater couldn’t draw enough amps through the cigarette plug. Hooked it up to an Anderson plug instead and works fine now
Great video thank you
Perfect! I've always been skittish of "mechanical" type stuff and this was super easy.
Not sure how these can be called ebay batteries, brick and mortar stores sell them. AMX for example
Still Chinese / ebay batteries. Yep, amx sells heaps of chinese stuff.
I haven't watched this yet but thought I'd share my experience. i get a tadd under 24hrs in my car running on an 80ah AGM battery before the built in medium cut off switch kicks in, which I believe is around 10.5 amps compressor running. 60th anniversary 40l. Brand new battery. I'd let it go lower but Engel's lowest cutoff I believe is far too low for AGM
Sounds about right mate. Cheers for the feedback
hi , great vid , just wondering have u ever heard of the controller settings access fail , ? i cannot get into the settings to adjust fuel/hrz rpm etc , maybe this is a cheap generic controller (comes with heater) that hasn't got that feature > thanks ( mine has a cog symbol not wrench) cheers
When you roll out throttle, does it disengage like you pressed the disengage button?
No
Thanks, my welder is now fixed. large aluminum ground wire and stud rotted off. large mouse nest inside.
Hey mate how uncomfortable is that seat on the bike I got one on my fatboy lol
😀 😃
the key was finding the slot to stick the phillips head in, worked like a charm....thanks
Good job
The hard reset screen does not appear on mine.
hi thank you for the great video. I was hoping you could answer some questions. Do you use curing salts specifically cure #2? Do you control the humidity in your tent at all? How fast do you have the fan going? I wan to try curing some sausage in a refrigerator and I was just going to put a battery operated fan inside. and right now I am in the research and information gathering stage before I dive in. Thank you for your reply.
Just regular salt. In the Australian weather, there's no need to control humidity. In other parts of the world, it might be recommended. The fan is going flat out, full rpm, however if you put yours in a fridge, ensure it's getting fresh air from outside (not just recirculating the same air inside).
@@Unfastened Thank you for the reply. With the fan going flat out you mean the fan that sucks air into your chamber? so it's providing fresh air however not really blowing air onto your sausage. I am just worried about dry ring and case hardening if I have a small fan circulating air in side the refrigerator. I was going to use smaller diameter casing like you 32mm to 36mm so drying time should be much quicker and hopefully case hardening won't be a problem.
Yes the fan sucks air into the chamber
I’ve done exactly that and it wont connect, have a few grid connect items so familiar with pairing, know of how to reset the ceiling fan? Ive created a new account so thinking that may be part of the cause
Once you get the fan/light to flash, it doesn't know what account you are using. It simply tries to find the app via bt/wifi. Your phone or tablet must also be connected to the local wifi for the fan/light to find it. Only after it is found in the app is it 'added' to your account. Good luck
Over the last couple of years I have changed every bush in the front end along with tie rod ends. Also hub rebuild when I first got my 97 GQ . New all terrains and rims. Still wobbles at 90 to 100. Only thing I haven't done is remove the shims. There is a preload of .5 to 1.5kg on the swivel hub from memory.
Greetings from Cape Canaveral! I just purchased Scram 411 and this is exactly the kind of info I’m looking to find out. Florida is very flat and hot. I got the Scram because I felt that like it was a grown up version of a trail 90 or a TW that could keep up in traffic when necessary. The bike has no problem in traffic but I’ve felt like is was wound up pretty good. I’m planning on this mod but wasn’t sure what size tooth sprocket to use. Good video! Please keep them coming!
Great video! - before I start - the pocket/vents above the stereo, you didn't show these being removed? Do they just come out with the dash and you just swap over or are they connected to the sub frame? Cheers!!
It's been a long time. I think they just pulled out, or had some kind of plastic clip to hold them in? Sorry I can't quite remember. Good luck with the dash.
great tips mate. I'm in Sweden and will be dusting off teh 50hP 1981 Johnsson next week and these tips will be great for looking into some problems i had at the end of last season.
That's a good motor!. Have fun out on the water.
Do away with the tailshaft centre bearing all together by having 1 piece tailshaft instead
Good to see there's still potential candidates for a Darwin Award out there. Ignore multiple warnings in the manual about placing the tip in coals - check! Circumvent the rocker switch safety - check! No less than 8 highlighted warnings in the manual but "it doesn't really tell you anything you need to know" - check! Still, thanks for the review. I think I'll definitely get one, but I'll follow the instructions and use the safety switch as intended . Cheers.
Thank you very much!
Doesn't work when you got the auto switch at the end.....
once you have the auto part out. should the rest of the locker inside the hub still spin. not sure if my entire assembly is cooked.
Mine is doing the same goes down but not up switch the relays and it’s still only going down any ideas it’s a 70 Johnson 2000
Check the tilt limit switch, may have to google the location as I can't remember but I do know that it will only cause it not to trim up but will still allow you to trim down.
how do you select Alpine mode? I know it can be done with this controller have forgotten the procedure.
My US spec 2006 was slightly different than this, but close enough to get me there, thanks! Hardest part was disonnecting some of the electrical where the latches were hidden or not obvious. The one with the spring wire clip lock was particularly puzzling until I realized you just gotta pry the wire out. There's actually two but the one on the MAP I just pulled the sensor and replaced that -ring while I was at it.
Glad it helped.
Thank you

Hi. Can you use raw garlic, not powder?
I like powder because it's already dry and helps to dry out the internals of the sausage. But raw garlic would probably be alright, just add a tad bit more salt. Let us know how you go.
Excellent! Thanks so much for posting.
That was a perfect video. Thank you.
I have a Sunnyboy or Solarbridge that is displaying an ERR 0P-0013-10. Do you have any idea of what this might be or where I can learn more? I will try to attach a picture of the message.
Thanks! Saves me a whole lot of time trying to work out what battery we needed for ours!

Very helpful video, so firstly thank you. I think my timer must be set, but didn't set it. I have only just installed the unit it's like yours in the video but I've had it for nearly 3 years. I never set the timer but I walked out to the van this morning and it was going but it wasn't warm, how do I turn it off the timer please mate, and why would it not be hot, does it need to be primed before start every time? Thank you
